House of the Lucky Gusak

Scrooge McDuck and his family are heading to the Temple of the Golden Cricket, on the way he agreed to drop in to Macau to Gladstone, who appealed to Donald for help. Zigzag contrary to Donald’s fears is splashed into Macau Bay without incident. Travelers go to Gladstone, and Zigzag, under the pretext of visiting a friend, is poisoned in the opposite direction.

Scrooge considers the institution a place where people uselessly spend in trying to get rich, Gladstone’s most important idler, Donald also does not have a better opinion about his cousin, because he is terribly unlucky next to him. Travelers go up to the penthouse when they hear screams from the room and run inside, however, it turns out that their relatives just do the massage. Scrooge reminds him of his request, but Gladstone is in no hurry to talk about the reason why he called them and offers to show them his house. Dilly is delighted with the new uncle and with the permission of Donald remains with Gladstone, and Scrooge takes the rest with him and goes to the Temple of the Golden Cricket, but first they have to find a way out of this institution, where everything is confused and similar to each other.

In search of a way out, the owner of the gambling house, the frogs Lui Hai, suddenly appears. He makes every effort to make guests stay longer by seducing them. Billy was intrigued by the presentation of the Aquarium Fountains, which is why Scrooge, with a squeak of heart, remains to watch the show. Willie the owner gives a jade tiger, to which the young man immediately became attached and gave the nickname Willy Jr., Ponochka was seduced by the Buffet of All Lands. However, Scrooge does not want to give up and by cunning forces Lui Hai to lead them to the exit, agreeing to book a room.

At this time, Gladstone, Dilly and Donald indulged in an easy and luxurious life: dressing appropriately, they tried their luck in a variety of quizzes. Gladstone won without difficulty – as soon as a word was said to him, Donald was unlucky, in addition, he sowed destruction around himself. In the end, Donald is bored and he makes Gladstone return to the cause of their call, here Gladstone admits that he called his relatives in the hope that they would release him from the captivity in which he is kept by Louis Hai, a vampire who feeds on luck and luck. Scrooge makes a bet with him: if he wins – they all leave, if he loses – all remain. God of fortune accepts at, but Gladstone and Donald should become participants, they need to pass an obstacle course. Gladstone easily overcomes obstacles one after another, unlike Donald, who has the most difficult trials in the form of fountains of the Aquarium and jade tigers. He is ready to give up when Dilly encourages him, saying that he is Donald, always goes ahead and does not stop, thanks to these words Donald has a second wind and he wins, having beaten the finish of Gladstone, who was distracted by $ 20.

However, Leah Hai does not intend to part with the lucky drake so easily, then Scrooge advises him by cunning to keep Donald, which Luy Hai does by letting the others go. Scrooge’s calculation turns out to be correct: not even a minute passes before the vampire of luck drives Donald because he is haunted by failure. The exhausted vampire disappears with the gambling house. The children say goodbye to Gladstone and board the plane when Zigzag returns wearing a samurai robe.

The company successfully gets to the Temple of the Golden Cricket, everyone is exhausted, and Scrooge listens to the cricket song with a tired look.
